Michelle Richards Jubilee Counselling
1 Swan Lane
I offer a reduced price initial consultation to see if we feel we could work together using CBT or longer term Psychotherapeutic techniques. I specialise in stress/anger management, depression, panic disorder, anxiety (including generalised anxiety) PTSD, CPTSD and relationship issues.
I work with both individuals and couples to understand the cause of the problem and to facilitate a solution that fits the person as opposed to the label - for example a person might be diagnosed as depressive and prescribed antidepressants, the work I would engage in would be to facilitate an understanding of the original cause and in doing so provide an opportunity to develop a different approach to life. I also work with bereavement, divorce, separation and other life issues that leave us with a sense of loss.
I generally work face to face, however for convenience there is also the option of Skype or Vsee.
Adopting a relational approach using a Humanistic psychotherapeutic model I work with individuals, couples and groups.
I use an integrated therapeutic method incorporating, Person Centered, CBT, Relational TA, Existential and Psychodynamic therapeutic models dependent on client need.
I have experience working with both children and adults referred via the NHS. I was CRB checked through my work with young people at the YPI in Basingstoke.
I provide face to face one to one counselling and run groups.
I offer short term or long term therapy.
If you have any queries or would like to make an appointment please contact me by email or phone.
