Profile

Hello and welcome my name is Alison I am a qualified counsellor. I

work therapeutically with a wide range of life issues.

You may be feeling nervous and uneasy about entering into counselling.  We are all

unique individuals and sometimes we find ourselves low, misunderstood,

overwhelmed, struggling or wanting to move on. Counselling gives you time, time to

be heard, to hear yourself and gradually be free to heal yourself. During counselling

you are free to explore your feelings, while not being judged.



We would start with an assessment, where by you are able to ask questions

and discuss expectations of counselling. The sessions are 60 minutes

and weekly in a safe and confidential enviroment.


I worked for many years for NHS Child and Adolescent Bereavement Service. Then I worked for Relate, working with individuals, couples, young people, EAP's and families, before moving on to working within Primary, Middle and Secondary schools around the county. I now work within Cruse and in private practice offering therapy to all.
