About me

Empathetic psychotherapist and executive coach. Many year experience working with individuals and couples. Insight, honesty, compassion are what I bring to my work. I offer  face-face, phone and online appointments.

I am passionate about my work and how the practical application of psychotherapy and coaching can help people to deal with life's challenges. My experience is that if you really enter into the therapy/coaching you will improve your quality of life and how you manage issues that arise.

I work from an integrative perspective which means that I align my approach with your personal preferences and goals rather than fitting your issues into a predetermined theory. I also work 'humanistically' which means that my focus is how you are living your life now and how you can feel more satisfied.

I work with all psychotherapeutic isssues including anxiety, depression, anger management, addiction, bereavement, couples counselling and relationship issues, abuse, low self-esteem, parenting issues, stress, sexuality, bipolar disorder/manic depression and childhood issues.

In my executive coaching I deal with all work issues including achieving high performance, managing people and being managed, managing change, skills gaps, work/life balance, making a career change, redundancy, bullying, achieving a more satisfying relationship to work.

Prior to working as a psychotherapist and executive coach I worked for 30 years as a senior manager, chief executive and chair in a variety of organisations and I bring my experience and fascination with personal and organisational management and change to my work in the present.

At our first session, we will look at what issues are concerning you and see how we can work together. If it feels right we will then arrange to work together with a review of our work when appropriate. I usually start working weekly with clients but I am flexible about starting fortnightly or working more frequently depending on circumstances.

I am experienced at working over the telephone and online and work regularly with clients all over the world.
