About me

! I'm sorry but I my practice is currently full !

Be brave and take this opportunity to invest in yourself? I offer couples counselling in Windsor, Maidenhead and Cookham as an experienced psychotherapist with the added benefit of a previous business background in blue chip organisations.
The past cannot be changed but how we feel about it can. Therapy can make sense of a problem and offer a confidential space to let out hidden feelings. As well as key relationship issues, I work with anxiety and panic attacks; Depression and low esteem; Abuse physical or sexual; Feelings of loss or anger; Addiction; General unease.
I have called my business Inspiration Counselling because I believe that by talking together there is opportunity to become inspired within yourself to see the way forward and inspired to look at what you can be capable of. I urge you to take the time to really work on yourself - for a change?

My credentials:

MA Psychotherapy and Counselling ; Advanced Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy (includes 5 years training with 3 years personal therapy)

B.A.(Hons) Business and Marketing plus 18 years in senior role in Marketing for Pepsico and Unilever (including leadership courses and team building)

NHS Mental Health training (3 years); Drugs and alcohol work at Turning Point.

Training, qualifications & experience

UKCP Registered ; M.A Psychotherapy and Counselling; Advanced Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy

I hold a Masters Degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling and an Advanced Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy, both from the school of Psychotherapy and Counselling at Regent’s College, London. In addition to my private practice I have also worked for Heatherwood Hospital NHS Mental Health Psychotherapy department and for the Slough branch of Turning Point, the alcohol and drug addiction agency.

I have been counselling couples and individuals in Windsor and Maidenhead and Cookham in private practice for 10 years and most of my work is with clients who stay 6-9 months up to 1 or 2 years depending on the work the client feels they need to do. But even in one session perspective can alter. We can both decide when the work has come to an end.

I am a Registered Member of the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy), membership of which requires a rigorous five-year training. I am bound by the UKCP’s ethical Principles & Code of Professional Conduct.

It is important to note that, as part of the rigour of my training, I have been in therapy (for 3 years) so I too know how it feels to be in that seat.
