Conor McKenna & Clare Hill
Our training is in Process Oriented Psychology. It is a holistic approach that helps to reconnect to the inherent wisdom underlying our problems. Relationship to the wisdom of your deeper nature has a profound and beneficial effect on the most difficult and hopeless problems.
Clare's work focuses on the general field of counselling. Among the areas of focus are couples counselling, relationship issues, anger management, symptoms, bereavement, psychosexual therapy, eating disorder, bullying, phobias, low self esteem, work related issues, addictions, anxiety, abuse, physical abuse, alcohol dependence, depression, stress, trauma, and much more.
Conor's focus is on transcendent experience and the awakening of the Self. Do you have experiences at times of deep quietness within, a sense of spacious emptiness, calmness or thought-free awareness that feels joyous? This is typical of a calling from our deepest nature to wake up to the reality that is beyond thinking processes. Abiding in this place brings love, joy and freedom from suffering because it is the unchanging foundation of who we really are. If you wish to help open this inner door further then working with someone who knows the territory can be very helpful.
We work with individuals and couples in our practices in Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders and also through Skype. We also run seminars throughout the world on subjects such as: conflict resolution, diversity issues, rank and power, relationship issues, organisational development, team work, dreams and inner work, life path and direction, deep body work and symptoms, creativity, depression, anxieties, and other altered states of consciousness, and more. We also supervise therapists and run training classes from our Edinburgh practice. We regularly work on the phone and on skype with clients throughout the world.
We offer one initial free half hour session so that you can 'taste' the process of counselling without commitment.
