Profile

I am a fully qualified and Accredited Counsellor managing DCS Counselling Practice Ltd in central Chelmsford with a team of 8 other experienced and accredited therapists offering a variety of specialisms.
We offer one to one sessions to individuals or couples who are experiencing difficulties or life changing events and want to get their life back on track. We're here so that our clients have somewhere safe to off-load and someone neutral who can help with the problems that life throws at us all.

Telephone Counselling, Home visits and Counselling via Skype all available on request.
Under 18's counselling service available

DCS Counselling Practice is also a satellite of DNA Clinics Ltd and we can offer DNA testing at our premises on behalf of our partner clinic in Liverpool. Prices available on request or see our website for further details.


We can offer appointments Monday - Friday during working hours with evening and Saturday appointments available.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I have been running my own Practice for over 13 years and during this time have worked for organisations providing work-based counselling, school counselling, young peoples' services, employee assistance programmes, and with health care providers as well as private client work.
I have had extensive experience for over 20 years of working within the criminal justice system in prisons and for the probation service. My specialisms include drugs/alcohol/domestic violence/eating disorders/childhood abuse/sexual abuse/self harm/anger and stress management/victims of crime.
I am an Accredited Counsellor with the BACP - MBACP (Accred) I am an Accedited Counsellor with FDAP (Federation of Drug & Alcohol Professionals)

Our Fees start between £45 and £70 for an individual and £55 and £80 for a couple/family session
Home visits are possible and the fees are as stated above with additional travel costs
