Profile

I am a BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor working in central Chelmsford and throughout Essex. My specialisms include addictions counselling and anger/stress management as well as bereavement and issues of low self-esteem, anxiety and depression. 
I offer one to one sessions to clients who are experiencing difficulties or life changing events and want to get their life back on track.  Whether it's one or two sessions to 'declutter' the mind or whether you've more serious issues to work on my practice( DCS Counselling) is here for you so that you have somewhere safe to off-load and someone neutral who can listen to you and help with the problems that life throws at us.

Working alongside other professionally qualified colleagues DCS Counselling is able to offer a variety of specialisms as listed below.  I am fortunate that I have experienced relationship counsellors on the team as well as counsellors specialised in working with young people's issues, bereavement, eating disorders, depression and many other areas.

DCS Counselling Practice is also a satellite of DNA Clinics Ltd and we can offer DNA testing at our premises on behalf of our partner clinic in Manchester. Prices available on request or see our website for further details.  Drug and Alchol Testing services are also available. 
We can offer appointments Monday - Friday during working hours with late evening  appointments available.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I have been running my own Practice for over 13 years and during this time have been fortunate to work in a variety of settings including the corporate industry providing work-based counselling for employees, staff and student counselling for a Public School, young peoples' and adult services in a drug and alcohol agency, employee assistance programmes, and with health care providers as well as my own extensive private client work.
I have also had extensive experience of counselling within the criminal justice system in prisons and for the probation service. My specialisms include drugs/alcohol/domestic violence/eating disorders/childhood abuse/sexual abuse/self harm/anger and stress management/victims of crime.
I am a Senior Accredited Counsellor with the BACP - MBACP (Snr.Accred) I am an Accedited Counsellor with FDAP (Federation of Drug & Alcohol Professionals)

Fees

Our Fees are between £45 and £55 for an individual and £55 and £65 for a couple -each session lasts for 50 minutes

Home visits are possible and the fees are as stated above with additional travel costs
Telephone and Skype counselling available at the same fee rate
