Profile

Hello, my name is Emma and I provide counselling and psychotherapy in the Winchester area with individuals and groups as well as couples, covering a wide variety of issues.

I work in a relational way using Transational Analysis on a short term or a long term basis. I also run groups for addiction, in particular for alcoholism, although I work with any type of addiction. I also run a therapy group for post natal depression.

I offer a reduced fee of £20 for an assessment session, so that we both have the opportunity to meet and decide whether we can work together.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

Foundation degree in Humanistic Counselling based on Transactional Analysis.

I am in my final year of an MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy at Metanoia Institute

I have experience working in the NHS for a drug and alcohol service and also working with groups and individuals on a wide range of issues, including sexual abuse and trauma.

I am trained in EMDR which I use for trauma, flashbacks, post traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, depression and chronic pain.
