Hello. I am Stella and my aim and desire is to provide a safe, empathic and comforting environment to explore with you whatever difficulties you may be experiencing in your life right now.
The difficulties that bring people to seek counselling are many and varied, and sometimes taking the first step in seeking help is the hardest part of all. However challenging life may seem to you at present, change is not only possible, but often brings with it unseen opportunities for empowerment and abundance, however frightening and challenging it may appear. This fear is a normal human response, and as a result we frequently put off making change until a crisis point is reached.
I am a very experienced and highly trained counsellor and psychotherapist, having worked continuously in the field for nearly twenty years.
From a very young age I had a desire and passion to work with people. In my younger years my ideas of how I might achieve this were not well formulated. However, a family tragedy that occurred in my late thirties gave me clarity to enter the world of therapy having been helped enormously myself by a Psychotherapist.
If you feel I can be of help to you, then please contact me so that we can have an informal chat. If we then both feel that I can be of help, we will make an initial appointment to meet in my counselling room.
