Brian Fenton. UKCP Registered Psychotherapist. MSc Psychotherapy.
I am a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist and currently work for the NHS (as a Highly Specialist Psychotherapist), and also in my own private practice. I offer both one to one, and group psychotherapy and I am very experienced in both long term and short term therapeutic work.
Having worked as a Humanistic-psychodynamic practitioner since 1996 I have gathered extensive experience in working with people who present with many different emotional and psychological difficulties, such as problematic relationships, sadness and loss, generalised anxiety, depression and addiction concerns.
These emotional and psychological difficulties can become debilitating to the point they impair our every day life, and are often symptomatic of relational experiences and traumas from our pasts. Psychotherapy provides a space in which experiences and difficult feelings can be sensitively considered, and where you can feel heard and understood. This experience ideally leads to greater self-awareness and understanding of your personal relationships, and an understanding of the psychological concerns which underlie your presenting symptoms.
If you would like to talk through your concerns in a private confidential setting, you can arrange an initial consultation, and then from this consider if you want to proceed.
To arrange an appointment please telephone or send me an email with your contact details. I will then contact you at my earliest convenience.
I am a UKCP Registered Clinical Supervisor and offer one to one and group clinical supervision to psychotherapists, counsellors, clinical/counselling psychologists and other related health professionals. In particular circumstances I am willing to offer clinical supervision online using VSee or Skype
I am a registered Psychotherapist with medical providers BUPA, AXA PPP, WPA and VITALITY.
