Profile
I am a very experienced BACP accredited counsellor working privately and in the NHS. I graduated from the highly regarded WPF training and have a great deal of experience of life. I will help you to find your strengths and solutions that will make more sense of your life. I am also a creative artist and have learned through my art, my extensive training and personal journey that there is no one solution. Every person is unique and together we will work to find your truth.
I will listen to you carefully and try to understand how you are feeling. You may be able to share things that you cannot say to family or friends; I provide a safe place to work through things you may be frightened or ashamed about. My style is to help you to be creative and together we may find new ways to look at things.
I will always respect your values, your freedom of choice, your sexuality, cultural background and your individuality.
To begin you can email or telephone me at any time for a short conversation to see if counselling is for you. We can then arrange an exploratory meeting where we can discuss:
your reasons for coming and what you want to achieve
how counselling works
agree fees, timings and frequency of counselling sessions
answer any question and worries you may have about the process,
and we can get to know each other so that you can decide if you feel comfortable and want to continue.
