My route to psychotherapy has been a rich and varied one. I have worked within the fields of social work and psychotherapy for over 35 years. This has included several years of training, teaching and working therapeutically with children, young people and adults in a variety of contexts. I have a deep interest both in chronic illness and in paliative care, end of life issues and also the areas of loss, trauma and abuse. In addition to my private practice, I worked as an associate lecturer at Chichester University teaching on aspects of therapy and counselling ..
As a psychotherapist I adhere to the professional code of ethics of the United Kingdom Council of Pyschotherapy. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and the Association of Individual Practitioners.
I receive regular clinical supervision on all my work so that during the period that you are my client I undertake to give you the very best service and attention I am capable of and to consult always in your best interests.
