Annie Tunnicliffe, MBACP
Sometimes along our journey through life we come to a point of change, crisis or indecision where our certainties disappear. We may feel lost, afraid, confused or angry. It may seem that our life is meaningless and we may feel isolated, with nobody to turn to. Although we may normally cope with our difficulties alone, with family or friends, occasionally we may feel the need to explore these feelings at a deeper level and with someone outside our normal circle.
It is then that counselling can help with that exploration and with recovering a sense of where our path might lie.
My background is in Integrative Psychosynthesis, which takes a holistic, broad and inclusive view of human life in which a person's physical, emotional and spiritual development are of equal significance. It has been described as psychology with a soul and includes spiritual understanding, wisdom, love and inspiration alongside a grounded and practical approach. I am experienced in short and long term work.
