Ian Mountford, MBACP (Accred)
13 Rustlings Road
For over 30 years, seeking to understand the ways in which people become unhappy or dissatisfied in their lives and how this can be addressed has been a major focus in my life. In 2002, I began training to be a counsellor, and I have practised professionally since 2007, developing ways to use what I have learned to benefit clients. I achieved accreditation with BACP in 2010, and I have been working under the IAPT scheme (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) since 2013.
I work with individual adults, usually on a time limited basis, because research shows that most benefit is achieved within the first half dozen or so sessions.
