I have been offering a professional counselling and psychotherapy service at Connections Counselling Ltd in King's Lynn since 1997 and work both with individuals and couples. Most of my clients are local and come face-to-face, but I also work with people from around the country and around the world via the telephone and internet.
I offer a variety of counselling approaches but am committed to starting where the clients are and to working in a way which they feel comfortable with. Broadly speaking I adopt humanistic and cognitive (CBT) approaches.
I am reassuringly registered and senior accredited. I also hold an enhanced CRB Certificate.
Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to work with such an extremely well qualified and experienced therapist in Kings Lynn, because, as many local people can testify, counselling can make such a difference to your life.
A Range of Problems
I work with people with a range of relationship and personal problems including: anxiety, relationship issues, coping with divorce, pre-marriage problems, sexual difficulties, abuse (mental, physical, sexual, spiritual), living with difficult relations (including parents and children), assertiveness, stress, loss, grief, bereavement, redundancy, depression, difficult decision making, addictions, anger management, aggression, conflict, infertility, sexuality, self-image, obsessions (OCD), personality disorders, dependency, avoidance, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Most of my clients come once a week or once a fortnight. Some come for between four and ten sessions; others come for a much longer period. You are in control. You attend the number of counselling sessions that seems best for you.
I offer sessions Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 11:00-17:00 and 19:00-20:00.
For clients who want a day-time appointment, I am usually able to fit them in within a week, or a fortnight at most. Although there is more demand for evening appointments, I can usually arrange a first appointment within a fortnight.
Supervision and Training for Therapists
I also offer counselling and psychotherapy clinical supervision for other therapists and deliver counsellor training days for local counselling charities.
