Thank you for visiting my profile. I am an accredited psychodynamic counsellor working with adults and I offer a confidential, safe, non-judgemental space for clients to come and explore their problems. I can offer a fixed number of short term appointments, or longer term counselling. I have experience in working with clients with a wide range of issues - particularly depression, phobias, anxiety and panic attacks, sleep disorders, post natal depression, bereavement and relationship issues. I also have a lot of experience of working with clients who have suffered childhood traumas such as sexual abuse or rape.
I can also offer support to couples who may be going through a difficult time in the relationship together. I will not take sides or judge, but will offer a safe space for you both to come and talk through the problems in the relationship.
I can offer daytime appointments, appointments early in the morning as well as on Saturdays.

In addition to traditional 'talking therapy', I am fully qualified to use EMDR, which is a type of therapy particularly helpful for deep trauma (e.g sexual abuse). It can also be used for other problems, such as anxiety, panic attacks and phobias.
