Sue Peters MBACP (Accred)
There are times when we all find obstacles in our lives overwhelming. The counselling that I offer provides a safe, confidential space to explore difficult issues and choices. In times of anxiety, distress and confusion, it can be helpful to talk things through with someone unconnected with your situation.
I work flexibly with a variety of approaches taken from different models of counselling, tailored to the individual needs of clients. My priority is to establish a secure and trusting relationship with my clients.
I have experience of working with adults and adolescents across a wide range of emotional issues, including relationship difficulties, family breakdown, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression and bereavement. I can offer brief, solution-focused therapy or longer-term support.
I am an approved provider for Bupa and Prudential Insurance. I have CRB clearance.
I work with student counsellors and can also offer supervision.
