Profile

Welcome to my profile , i hope you will find it useful in making your choices. I am a Person Centered Counsellor [BACP accred] and Supervisor .
I see clients primarily in a private and peaceful space attached to my home but with its own entrance.I am able to consider home visits , but this may incur a travelling fee.My aim is to provide a safe, confidential space for clients to explore and express feelings and gain insight and understanding.
I am not there to judge, advise or direct but endeavour to help you access your resources, by offering a supportive and therapeutic relationship .

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I am a qualified counsellor ,BACP accredited and  hold a Certificate in Supervision [M.I.P. 2010].
My private practise includes working as a schools counsellor [11-16 years]  
I have experience of working within both education and health care .
I hold a teaching qualification [UCLAN] have worked in Adult and 16-19 Education as a lecturer.

Counselling £30 per hour for 1-1 .
Reduced fee for students on counselling courses.
Concessionary rates and fee structure for other areas of working available.
Home visits are available. [Mileage fee may apply]

Counselling is demanding and invariably emotional .
It is important that the time is right for you and that you have a clear understanding of what is being offered.
