I think that making the steps towards Therapy can be a big move, but I also know how helpful and liberating it can be. There are no pressures, expectations or judgements, just the time and space for you to use as you need.

As a Counsellor, I try to offer a non-judgmental and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.

The aim of counselling is to give you the time and space you need to work through the issues that are troubling you. By spending this time together, the hope is that you will come to a place that you are happy with and begin to be the person that you want to be.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I am currently working as a Counsellor at Blackpool Victoria Hospital as part of the Occupational Health team. The range of people, ages and issues brought are vast and this has really helped me develop as a counsellor.

For the last 2 years I have also worked with 11-25 year olds at the Urban Exchange in Preston, whilst also expanding my work into private practice in Preston and Blackpool.

I have worked with both young people and adults with issues including; depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, abuse, eating disorders, self-esteem, self-harm, relationship/friendship issues, bereavement, stress, family-related issues, confidence, loss, workplace issues, drug and alcohol abuse.



My Qualifications are:


- Graduate Diploma in Professional Counselling

- Member of The British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP)

- Certificate in CBT

- Child Protection Awareness

- Levels 1 and 2 in Counselling Skills

Fees

I charge £30 per session and each session will last 50 minutes.

The amount of sessions and the content of the time together is completely your choice.

I work in both Preston and Blackpool. We will arrange a time and place which suits you best and try and maintain this as long as you need.
