Profile

I am a certified Hakomi therapist and supervisor, offering mindfulness based body psychotherapy and counselling in Central Manchester, Lancaster and South Cumbria.
I offer a free phone session to establish our suitability.

I have 16 years experience working with people suffering emotional difficulties, 9 of these in constant supervised psychotherapeutic practice.

Mindfulness saved me from a life of purgatory in my early twenties, and Ive been consolidating my curiosity about awareness and what it is to be human ever since.
I have a bent for eco psychology seeing my practice focusing on the wisdom of the body to inform us when and where unnecessary suffering can be discarded.

My practice is grounded on these principles:

Unity acknowledging everything as part of a greater whole
Organicity the experience of healing from the inside out
Mindfulness the practice of noticing present experience
Non-violence respecting the wholeness of each of us
