Are you going through a difficult time? Do you feel alone with your problem?
Are you constantly sad or emotional and finding it difficult to cope?
Would you like someone to support you? Someone who will listen and not judge you, but provide a time and space for you to explore your issues and give you support?
I offer face to face counselling to individual Adults, children and Young People
The counselling I offer can be short-term, (a few weeks or months) or longer term, as I firmly believe that counselling should last as long as needed by the client.
Sessions last for 50 minutes and are usually weekly.
I see clients for issues such as stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, bereavement and loss, depression, relationship issues, eating disorders, long term illness or pain, endeometriosis, miscarriage, anger management and many other issues.
I also see children who are having difficulties. I use play therapy to assist in unlocking issues and helping the child to recover or cope.
My theoretical approach is humanistic, cognitive and solution focused. I use a range of therapies to help my clients, depending on their individual needs and issues.
My office is in the centre of Bishop's Stortford, which is on the Hertfordshire and Essex border and has a mainline railway station, buses and lots of car parks nearby.
i look forward to working with you.
