Life and its challenges can sometimes seem overwhelming. If this is how you feel, or you would just like someone to talk to; who won't judge what you say or feel; then counselling may be of help to you. I am a fully qualified counsellor with a private practice in Matfield. I work in a person-centred way, believing that by gently exploring difficult issues and feelings together, it will lead to a better understanding of them and enable you to move on with your life. It may be a current crisis, or an issue from the past which is impacting on the present, making life difficult to cope with. I offer a safe, supportive and confidential place, where you can share some of the burden.

I draw on my training and experience of various counselling theories in my work, including; Transactional Analysis; Gestalt and CreativeTherapies. I have experience of working with people of all ages, including children.
I understand that it may be difficult and challenging for you to talk about your thoughts and feelings and that the prospect of counselling can be daunting. Therefore, I am able to offer an initial session, free of charge; to enable you to decide whether counselling is for you.
