Profile

My work focuses on creating a safe and unjudgemental place for you to explore any issues or difficulties you may be experiencing. Some times; a client will have difficulties just talking, as an accomplished artist my practice is enriched with creativity and has enabled some clients; where appropriate; to express themselves in other ways; such as talking in abstract, colours, textures or shapes. For the most part however; I explore childhood experiences and enable the client to understand how these experiences are linked to present day behaviours and difficulties.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling.
I have worked for a Drug and Alcohol agency as an individual counsellor; then a group meeting facilitator. I am a member of FDAP (Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals) as well as being a member of BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).
I have also worked for SOBS (Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide).

Fees

Fee for an initial assessment is £25; further sessions £45. Reduced rates available to Students and NHS Staff.
