Profile
Whether you are looking for help for yourself, your marriage, your children or your whole family, I offer a confidential, professional service rooted in my experience, qualification, faith, approach and values. I offer a warm, non-judgemental, results-oriented service.
The service that I offer differs from traditional counselling services, in that I use empircially validated research to design an intervention based on your needs. You will be an active participant on our journey, be it short term (six sessions) or longer term. There will be specific goals which we set and which we meet.
I offer a tailored service entirely focused around your specific, unique situation(s). My methods are based equally on my professional experience and training. I also use a prayerful Christian approach to those individuals for whom this is appropriate.
My name is Louise and I am a Behaviour Analyst and Psychologist. I have over ten years experience in the field and have two sister practices. One is Verbal Behaviour Consultants which works with those with autism and developmental disorders (www.networkinterventions.com) and the other is my Psychology & Behaviour Analysis practice (www.kadayer.co.uk) which works with individuals, couples and families.
At our first consultation we will explore why you have come to me, whether it be due to a specific trauma or bereavement or due to a period of distress, mental or health condition or to deal with a terminal illness. We will decide between us which interventions are best for you, whether it's simply a counselling service or whether it's an intervention to put steps into place to move forward in your life and relationships. We will also decide the frequency and length that you will see me for. I will not recommend we work together if I feel I am not the right person for you, or you are not ready to begin intervention.
I have a wonderful team around me, should they be more suited to your needs. They range from behaviour analysts through to clinical and education psychologists. This will be discussed with you during your initial no cost, no obligation phone call.
