Profile

I offer a confidential, qualified counselling services for individuals and couples. I also offer student placement support and counselling for those working towards their own qualification in Integrative counselling.

I work in Essex,Suffolk,Cambridgeshire boarders from my office based in Haverhill Suffolk. This means that my practice is easily accessible from Haverhill, Cambridge, Sudbury, Bury St Edmunds, Saffron Walden, Duxford ,and the surrounding villages.

I provide a safe, comfortable modern setting, with good public transport links and ample parking in the near by Tesco's carpark in the centre of Haverhill. I am also able to offer a telephone service and on-line payment.

I maintain a strict ethical code as laid down by the BACP, of which I am a member and I am currently working towards becoming accredited.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I have a BACP accredited Diploma in Integrative Counselling. I have over 2 1/2 years counselling experience working in both private and charity practices.

I am committed to continue professional development and have undertaken a variety of post-graduate short courses and workshops to support this commitment. These have included studying issues around the Love/Hate relationship, and the therapeutic benefit of using horses to help unlock clients issues. I am also trained to work with play therapy aimed at primary school children.

I work on the telephone. I have also worked with people in their own home when personal circumstances make this necessary.

Fees

I charge £40 per 50 minute session and £55 for couples for face to face counselling and £40 for a telephone consultation.

I may be able to offer a low cost service for students, and individuals and couples in cases of genuine financial hardship. Please contact me for further details of this service.
