About me

For over 25 years I’ve worked with individuals and couples with relationship and/or sexual problems and anxieties and all general counselling issues in a warm and approachable way.  I've a specific accredited psychosexual training dedicated to working with sexual & relationship issues.  I've also trained in general practice as a counsellor/psychotherapist in the field of Gestalt Psychology.  I see individuals and couples presenting a wide range of sexual, relationship & internet 'addiction' issues. I also offer short term solution focused therapy both privately and through EAPs (Employees Assistance Programmes) for individuals and couples on a wide spectrum of issues as well as telephone counselling. I have a keen interest in trauma work. I am qualified and accredited with COSRT (College of Sexual & Relationship Therapy) and Registered with UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy).

You can read more about me and my work on my dedicated website by clicking the link. You can also view my entry on my professional bodied websites (COSRT & UKCP). Alternatively, I welcome your telephone call to my private line where you can speak to me in person in strictest confidence and I will answer any questions you may have about me, the way I work and how coming to see me could help you.

There will be absolutely no obligation for you to arrange an appointment when you call. Finding the 'right' therapist for you is important and often a daunting prospect so I'm also happy to take calls from those 'shopping' for a counsellor.

My approach is humanistic and integrative. Over the years I have worked in two London NHS Hospitals and widely in private practice. I currently work in private practice in Harley Street, London and in Norwich (a short walk from Norwich Railway Station). I maintain my Clinical Consultant in Harley Street for both my London and Norwich work locations.

I am also a qualified Consultant Supervisor and have taught and supervised trainee practitioners to M.Sc Level including working as an academic marker over many years. I offer Practice Supervision and Consultancy to individuals and small groups. If you are seeking supervision please read my Supervision entry on this site and telephone me for an initial no obligation discussion of your needs.
