Sometimes life can seem too difficult to understand let alone navigate through!
Maybe your relationship(s) are not going well, perhaps you feel a discontent somewhere deep inside yet can't quite understand it or you may have a wound from the past that isn't healing.
To get in touch with a counsellor is talking to someone who is outside your family and friends circle, who is there just for you and will not only listen but help you find ways to make a difference to your life so that you feel more balanced, more content and confident within yourself.
Counselling is a two-way process, a working together to bring about change, where counsellor and client each have a role to play. Therefore, my integrative approach that incorporates CBT, takes into account the individual needs of each client. After completing my training in London and spending 4 years as a part time counsellor, I moved back to Rugeley where for 9 years I have been working as an independent psychotherapist and counsellor in private practice where I work with individuals, couples, families and teenagers. Originally trained as an Adlerian Counsellor, I gained a second diploma in integrative psychotherapy and hypnotherapy. I am a qualified clinical supervisor and supervise trainees, newly qualified and experienced counsellors. School counsellors are particularly welcome.
