Profile
I am a registered BACP therapist (British association of counselling and psychotherapy) and therefore work within the ethical framework set out by them, ensuring that the service that I offer always puts the needs of the client first.
I offer a unique service that works with a range of various models and skills all tailored to help my clients get the most from therapy.
I am client lead, therefore I do not work with a ridged approach, I can adapt to the needs of my clients and their situations whilst constantly providing an honest, safe, confidential and supportive relationship that promotes growth in my clients.
I work from home however I can accommodate clients that need home visits, I do prefer to work from home as I have a room that is geared towards providing a safe and warm environment that will help my clients explore themselves without fear of interruption.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
I have worked in the helping industry for over 9 years now , firstly starting as a support worker for people suffering with issues of substance abuse , this lead me to become fully trained and qualified in counselling.
I presently hold a diploma in integrative counselling, a post graduate certificate in integrative psychotherapy, i have experience in many areas of therapy , i have also received further training in transactual analysis and continue to train in different techniques and theories.
i presently work for an organisation that provides counselling for outside organisations.
i work closely with people that are in recovery from drugs and alcohol.

Fees
my fees are £25 per session however i do charge extra for home visits .( dependent on distance)
i also work on a sliding scale and can reduce my fees for people on lower incomes

i have two premises from which i can see clients , i have a office in great barr and an office in central birmingham with free car parking
