I am a Relationship Counsellor and work with Couples and Individuals. I specialise in relationship issues. I provide a safe, confidential and professional space. I work with the issues that cause problems in relationships,- an affair, loss of communication, depression, commitment issues, a bereavement, jealousy, step families, life stress or loss of confidence. Relationship counselling works because clients have the opportunity to give attention to their relationship, to understand better their partners behaviour and also their own.
Clients consistently say that counselling gives them the opportunity to understand their emotional issues and how these issues directly impact their relationships and their lives. They say that counselling increases their ability to communicate feelings more effectively and that this makes a huge difference. It provides the opportunity to step back and find fresh pespectives. It can make situations that seemed previously impossible become possible, so that new choices can be made to move forward.

I am accredited with BACP the British Association of Counselling and Psychtherapy.
and registered with UKCP the UK Council for Pychotherapy as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor.
I abide by the professional codes of ethics of these two professional bodies.
I have a Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling and Therapy and an additional training in couples counselling.
I have ten years experience in private practice seeing couples and individuals.
I also have six years experience working in the NHS as a counsellor in GP practices
