Profile

I am a qualified counsellor and psychosexual therapist. I offer Couples Counselling, Sex Therapy, Individual Therapy and Bereavement Counselling working with couples or individuals of any sexual orientation.

I am experienced in working with relationships issues which may include communication problems, breakdown of relationship, affairs, loss of confidence, low self esteem and anxiety.

In sex therapy, treatment plans for sexual problems are individually tailored. Any sexual task is carried out in the clients own home never in the consulting room. I have worked successfully with sexual addiction, working with both the addict and their partner and with survivors of child sexual abuse. Also with clients who have gender identity disorder.

Other area's I work in include bereavement,depression, stress, anxiety and panic attacks.

I am committed to providing these therapies in a comfortable,supportive, non judemental and confidential space, from my private practice in Lichfield. Work can be either on a short term basis (working with a particular issue), or longer term addressing deeper and more complex concerns.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I am a member of COSRT(College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists) and also BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy) I am listed on their web sites of approved therapists.

I hold full professional and public liability insurance. I am CRB enhanced checked

Qualifications:
Post Graduate Dipolma in Psychosexual Therapy
Graduate Certificate in Relationship Counselling.
Relate qualified Relationship counsellor
Cruse Bereavement Trained
I have worked for Relate for several years and I am also currently providing Sex therapy for NHS patients.

I also write a monthy column on relationships, sexual health and family issues in the Lichfield Mercury.

I see clients for daytime,evening, or Saturday morning appointments

Individuals £40
Couples £50
Payable by cash or cheque at the end of the session

I have a small number of appointments for FULL TIME students (18 -23yrs) available at a reduced cost of £25.00 for individuals and £35.00 for couples.

Further Information

I work integratively with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Psychodynamic, Systemic and Person Centred Theories.

I work affirmatively with LGBT clients, their relationships and sexual issues.
