About me

Perhaps you're having trouble making sense of things at the moment. This is where therapy can help many people, like you, who are experiencing difficulties or are unclear on where to turn to for support.

I am a fully qualified, insured and BACP registered psychotherapist and counsellor with over ten years experience in practice. I am qualified to work with both short and long term issues.

I currently provide private confidential counselling from my practice in Battle, East Sussex. There is ease of access with parking, alternatively there are bus routes outside the practice. Battle mainline train station is a ten minute bus ride away.

It is important for me as a therapist to ensure you, as the client, feel safe and comfortable enough to attempt to explore troubling issues and ways of coping in order to develop a healthier well being and sense of self.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have over ten years experience in practice working within organisations and privately with a wide variety of people from diverse backgrounds and cultures varying in ages. Over the years I have worked for a number of organisations including Mind, child and adolescent support and Victim Support.

My post-graduate diploma in psychotherapy from the University of Greenwich comprised an ‘integrative’ training covering the various models of therapy. Out of the many and varied therapeutic approaches the focus was 'psychodynamic' although I have been trained to offer more than one type of counselling depending on an individuals needs.

My main approach is to ensure that you, the client, feel at ease in your decision to come for therapy and are treated as a fellow human rather than as a patient.
