As an integrative therapist, hypnotherapist, coach and trainer I am trained in multi modalities which allows me to bring the wide range of training and experience together to create a therapeutic approach and/or coaching that is bespoke to the client and their needs.
This unique therapeutic approach brings dynamic and impactful results. My focus within the work we will do together is about resolution and relief from limiting beliefs that will touching every area of your life whether it be relationship issues, childhood issues through to challenges in the work place.
You may be fed up of thinking, feeling or living the way you do and are considering your options of how to make lasting changes that enable you to live the life you want to live.
During my time in private practice I have developed a fresh approach to therapeutic intervention that facilitates empowerment, change and freedom from limiting beliefs. The way I work is collaborative, compassionate, inspiring and motivating, all whilst validating your experiences that have brought you here today.
My experience is encompasses work with adults and young people on a one to one basis covering a range of issues with the predominance of my work being under the umbrella heading of trauma and abuse. You will appreciate this covers a vast range of experiences around such subjects so contact me should you wish to clarify if I have worked with the issue you are feeling most challenged with at this moment.
If you feel stuck, ready for change or find yourself saying the words ‘I have had enough’ then my approach could be the one you are ready for at this point in your life.
Finding the right therapist to work with can feel like a minefield! So with this is mind, I offer a 20 minute free and confidential consultation whereby we can look at how I might be able to help and which service, psychotherapy, hypnosis or coaching would be of most benefit to you.
My work history includes working on contracts in high schools providing a high quality of psychotherapy for adolescents as well as their families. Being involved in Child in Need and Child Protection plans, MAST meetings etc I also work with Employment Assisted Programmes and STAR (Surviving Trauma After Rape) as well as solicitors of personal injury claims. I see people in private practice that approach me on a self referral basis with a wide variety of issues to address as well as taking referrals from other sources. I am currently training coaching with a view to offering further services within my practice and training in being a Media consultant which will allow me to work with TV.

There are two main modalities that underpin my work, these are:
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing is a phased treatment approach developed initially by Francine Shapiro (1989). This treatment approach has been extensively researched and has proven an excellent treatment path for trauma of every nature.
When trauma occurs the brain struggles to process the incoming information therefore traumatic events become 'frozen' and it replays as if it as if you are pressing a replay button on a DVD. EMDR can move these frozen memories by activating the brains natural processing abilities with great efficiency. Thus enabling a person to heal effectively overcoming their traumatic experience.
EMDR is quick (compared to other modalities) and safe. Just some of the issues I work with are;
Rape, sexual assault
Kidnap, Hostage situations
Low Self Esteem
Parks Inner Child Therapy
PICT is a powerful and versatile visualisation based 'stand alone' therapy model. It is an evolving form of cognitive therapy with a foundation in Transactional Analysis that incorporates aspects of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) to aid rapid response change. PICT is a relational approach reinforced by contemporary research in neuroscience.
Although PICT was originally created specifically to help people recover from the trauma and damage of sexual, physical, emotional and psychological abuse during childhood the tools within PICT are equally effective for a wide range of trauma issues.
PICT, although a 'talking therapy', is a directional model following a flexible structure always adapted to the client's individual needs. PICT is designed to assist people who have completed the 'unloading' process to move into the process of change work. A PICT therapist can facilitate the of loading process or deliver the PICT process as stand alone.
Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions
Weight gain is much more than over eating. When wanting to lose weight there are many aspects that need to be addressed mainly our emotional relationship with food and self sabotaging patterns of behaviour as well as looking at the types of food we crave gives an indicator to what needs to be addressed to enable us to have a stable and healthy weight which we can maintain.
I have designed a package of working with the mindset alongside an educational 3 programme to re set and re educate the system whilst working with me on your history, self sabotaging actions, cravings and creating a new pattern of behaviours using a combination of techniques.
As someone who has struggled with their weight all my life this enables me to have a deep understanding of the challenges weight gain and loss has on our emotional and physical well being.
