Profile
My counselling practice is in Kings Worthy, near Winchester. I am a full member of the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists [BACP] and work in accordance with their code of ethics and standards. I am also able to offer telephone counselling if transport to Kings Worthy is an issue.
I provide a supportive and confidential environment where together we can explore the issues you bring, and work towards long lasting changes. My aim is to help you resolve your problems and to meet you with warmth and compassion
Training, Qualifications & Experience
I have a Certificate in Counselling Skills and a Diploma in Humanistic Counselling based on Transactional Analysis [TA]. I have also attained a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, awarded by the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body [CPCAB]. I am a member of Winchester Bereavement Services.
I am committed to ensuring that I remain in-touch with up-to-date research, developments and literature and attend regular training courses and workshops held by the Hampshire Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapist and other organisations and Agencies.
In addition to working in private practice, I have extensive experience working for an Agency in Winchester. This work has covered a wide range of issues and a wide diversity of clients.
I believe my knowledge and life experience mean that I have a lot to offer my clients, particularly those whose lives have been affected by sight loss.

Further Information
Building an effective therapeutic relationship is central to counselling; its important, therefore, that you choose someone you feel really comfortable with. For this reason, I meet you for a free initial assessment, which gives you the chance to see if you think what I have to offer is right for you. This is also the time when you can talk through your expectations of counselling and what you are hoping the outcome will be. I hope you will also feel free to ask me any questions about my way of working if anything is unclear.
