Mandy is an experienced counsellor and supervisor who has worked extensively with clients who have experienced trauma in their lives. Mandy also works as a GP Counsellor within the NHS.
In addition to her extensive work with clients who have suffered from sexual, physical and emotional abuse, Mandy has a great deal of experience in working with depression, anxiety, self-harm, low self-esteem, grief and loss and relationship difficulties. Mandy is an integrative counsellor working primarily from a cognitive-behavioural perspective, using schema therapy for dealing with deeper problems from childhood. She is a member of the British Association for counsellors and Psychotherapists and is bound by the ethical framework for good practice. Mandy believes everyone deserves a chance to have a happy and fulfilled life.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
Mandy has worked extensively with clients who have experienced trauma in their lives. She also works as a GP Counsellor within the NHS.
Mandy has a Masters Degree in Counselling (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and Diploma in Consultative Supervision from the University of Wales (Newport).
Mandy's research project explored the relationship between sexual abuse, symptoms of post traumatic stress and early maladaptive schemas.

Fees
Counselling Fees are £50.00 per hour for individuals and £55.00 for couples. Reductions for students and the unemployed.
