Profile

Pat offers a range of counselling services for adults, young people and children. She also offers supervision, consultancy and training to individual counsellors, play therapists and statutory and voluntary organisations. Her approach is integrative with a strong person centred foundation.She sometimes offers a more creative approach when needed. She is a qualified teacher, social worker, counsellor and play therapist.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications include Certificate of Education, B.Phil(Community Education), CQSW(social work)M.Ed(Counselling). Shas postgraduate diplomas in working with survivors of abuse and play therapy. She also has qualifications in supervision and attachment based interventions. She has an active and informed approach to diversity issues.
Pat has worked in various settings including health, social services, voluntary organisations and education.

    For individuals starting at £30 per session. Rates can be negotiated according to need eg students

    Play therapy is also offered for children. Children find it easier to communicate through play. They engage in a variety of activities which enable them towork through their worries, face fears and experience trust in a safe environment.
