Profile
Hello and welcome. Sometimes, to make sense of what what is happening in our lives, we may need a safe space to talk and be really listened to in a confidential non-judgmental setting, or find a way to change something deep inside.
People come to counselling or psychotherapy for many reasons and during different times in their lives.
Some of the issues that counselling can be helpful for are:
Relationship issues, difficulties with trust or repetitive patterns of behaviour;
Low self-esteem and low self-confidence;
Coping with change;
Depression;
Anxiety;
Loss or grief;
You may simply want to speak your worries or feelings aloud to someone distanced from your day to day life. Or you may need someone with a more extensive “toolkit” to help you make useful adjustments.
My goal is to help you find understanding, insight and ways of managing your situation or making those adjustments so that you feel, and know, your quality of life has improved.
Deciding to come to therapy or counselling can be a difficult and emotional step so please be assured your enquiry will be dealt with sensitively and respectfully.
I am a qualified psychotherapist and counsellor and a member of the National Counselling Association (NCS). I work within their ethical code of practice.
Skype based therapy available.
