Confidential counselling for adults, teenagers and children in Surrey based at Fetcham, Leatherhead and Hersham Village, Walton-on-Thames. Close to Dorking, Epsom, Ashtead, Bookham, Effingham, Cobham, Horsley, Esher, Weybridge, Molesey.

My counselling practice is available to clients of all ages. Counselling appointments for adullts, teenagers and children, are available in the Leatherhead area. After school counselling appointments can be arranged for children. Childrens counselling can be arranged in school with the agreement of the head teacher. Counselling appointments in the Walton on Thames area are for adults and teenagers.

Practicing as an integrative counsellor means I am able to draw from a range of approaches to help clients explore their difficulties. These include psychodynamic, person centred, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), attachment, experiential and existential. Working within a range of different theories can help adults and adolescents to gain insight and understanding of their presenting problems from different perspectives.

For children a therapeutic space is created within which children can explore their issues and feelings and express themselves using art, drama, story telling, sand, puppets and play materials to aid exploration and expression in a safe environment. Counselling children requires special counselling skills adapted to assist children to express themselves using media, this is often referred to as Play Therapy.

Adult, adolescent and child counsellor experienced in NHS counselling, private practice, bereavement counselling, college and school counselling and child counselling in a family service specialising in divorce and separation issues.

I am also a trainer delivering specialist parenting courses to parents who have divorced or separated.

Fees

£40 daytime appointments
£45 evening appointments after 5.30 pm

Individual appointments are 50 minutes long.

Couples sessions are 90 minutes long and fees are
£60 daytime and £65 evening appointments.

School counselling can be arranged in Surrey schools with the agreement of the head teacher.

Domicilliary Counselling in Surrey:
Home visits for counselling can be arranged for clients with serious illness or physical disabilities.
