Training, Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications

I graduated from CCPE London, where I completed a five year Diploma course in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2006. The course, which specialises in Transpersonal Psychotherapy, is accredited with both the BACP and UKCP. My professional interest in this area began in the early 1990s when I completed two years' part-time study in Counselling Skills and Theory from CSCT.

Experience

I have been working with individuals in Counselling & Psychotherapy since 2001. Over the years, I have worked with clients on a wide range of issues including: depression, anxiety, stress, abuse, life-crisis, addiction, identity, self-harming, eating disorders, sexuality, grief, relationship problems, anger, mental health issues, personal growth and life-direction.

I work one day a week for a specialist Bristol based Charity (The Green House) offering counselling and psychotherapy for individuals who have experienced sexual trauma at any time in their lives. For more information see http://www.the-green-house.org.uk/

I also co-facilitate a long-term psychotherapy group for women which meets fortnightly in Glastonbury. (For more details on this group please contact me directly.)

I am a Director of a education and training based charity TAP  which offers seminars, talks, workshops and conferences on areas relating to Counselling and Psychotherapy. For more details see http://www.taplimited.org.uk/

Supervision
I am an experienced supervisor. She first began supporting volunteer counsellors at ChildLine in the 1990s. After many years of experience she is now undertaking formal Supervision Training with CASCADE Training Associates.

Both 1-2-1 Supervision and Group Supervision are available.

From personal support in working therapeutically with clients through to sharing expertise and experience of building a thriving private practice - contact me for more details - or to arrange a FREE, no obligation, initial Session.
