I am a highly experienced counsellor providing a supportive, confidential and caring service for people with a variety of psychological and emotional issues.
I have an extensive private practice where I work with individuals, couples and organisations. I believe it is the quality of the relationship between the counsellor and the client which enables the client to resolve their issues. For me this means accepting each client as a unique individual with their own particular issues, enabling them to feel safe enough to trust the counselling process and commit themselves to working with me to make the necessary changes in their lives.
'Thank you for all your support and calm, thoughtful guidance in helping me to deal with my grief, loneliness, uncertainty and fear. I now have a positive outlook towards the future; the fear and uncertainty have dissolved and I'm feeling more grounded, thank you.'
'Thank you so very much for all your help and understanding in what has been an extremely difficult and emotional period of my life. I have truly learnt a lot from my time with you about myself, my needs and others. I will miss our sessions a lot!'
'Just to say thank you very much for your help with my problem. I feel so much better after speaking to you.'
'Greg was hugely helpful and as a result helped to stabilize my daughter's eating habits.'

One of my main interests and specialities as a counsellor is Eating Disorders. As one of the leading Eating Disorders practitioners in the South East, I work with clients who are suffering from specific Eating Disorders such as anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder and also with associated eating problems including obesity, food cravings and failed dieting. I believe it is important to understand the underlying emotional issues of the individual client as well as dealing with their particular eating behaviours in order to create a personal plan for them.
I am also a professional trainer and Director of the Raphael Training Institute providing specialist training for psychotherapists, counsellors and members of the medical and helping professions. Please see the Professional Training entry on my website for further details.
I practise from the Clinic of Natural Medicine which is located in a quiet setting in the Meads area of Eastbourne and from the Dialogue Centre which is located in Brighton within walking distance of Brighton Station.
