Whether we've a nagging sense that there's 'something missing', feel shame about a specific event in our lives, keep becoming overwhelmed by anger, or have a very specific issue we want to tackle, counselling can provide the safe space that enables reflection and working through.
Working with the client, that safe space is created, and light can be shed on what may have previously been kept in the dark.

My original training background was psychodynamic, though I've since trained in CBT, but I don't take a 'one-size fits all' approach: whatever works for the client is the right approach. I work short and long term.
