About me

Hello and welcome, my name is Philip Rowe and people come to me for help to enhance various aspects of their life. I am a fully qualified, registered and insured integrative psychotherapist, addiction specialist, clinical supervisor, shamanic practitioner and energy healer. I believe in weaving these practices together which is underpinned by transpersonal psychology, to provide a bespoke service in order to optimise your wellbeing.

What I bring - in short

I have worked therapeutically since 1999 helping clients from various cultural backgrounds, differing ethnic origins, religious and spiritual beliefs. I have worked in a broad range of therapeutic and clinical settings, and you can rest assured that I will bring this experience with me to provide you a safe and confidential space which will underpin our work together.

Professionalism

Having over 15 years counselling and psychotherapy experience has got me recognised to be an approved practitioner by the Professional Standards Agency and referred on to the accreditation register by the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists. My approach in short

Being an integrative transpersonal psychotherapist allows me to develop a therapeutic approach to meet your needs. Through many years of experience, I have adopted this approach as I believe "one shoe does not fit all" and with influences of the transpersonal model “psychology of the soul” will invite you (if you choose) to explore deeper spiritual aspects of yourself.

I therefore ask you to have a look at my profile to gain an impression of me to see if I am going to be the right therapist for you. All questions are welcomed.

A little bit about me

Through my own personal life challenges and with the fantastic help gained from counselling and psychotherapy I soon found a passion in this career. This led me to train as a counsellor in 1998 to help others (as I was helped). Initially, I was trained in addiction group psychotherapy which followed on to train in one to one counselling. By 2008 I became the founder and manager of my own private practice.  My practice become recognised by an addiction rehab service in Bristol and I was commissioned as the lead counsellor and head clinical supervisor. I since gained further contracts both within both the public and the private sector.
