Profile

I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist (BACP member) offering open-ended therapy and brief, focused work. I have experience of working in the private, not for profit and public sectors, including the NHS. I am experienced working with a wide range of common issues including depression, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, low self esteem, as well as adult survivors of childhood abuse. I am also experienced as a psychologically based coach helping individuals through career and life transitions.

My integrative approach draws upon humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive systems. I believe that we are shaped by our genetic make-up, the environment we grew up in and our current unique life situation and relationships. Although we cannot modify our genes, we can, through thoughtful reflection, find better ways to improve our every day experience. So whether you are at a point of crisis or just feel that there is something not right in your life, the counselling/psychotherapy relationship can provide you the safe place to bring about relief, understanding and the opportunity for you to try out doing things differently.

Please call or email me if you would like to explore how counselling might help you.

I work with a team of experienced therapists at Re..root;  together, we offer counselling, psychotherapy and coaching . If I am not the right therapist for you, then you may find a session with one of our other therapists helpful. If the time feels right, contact us on 020 8948 5980 or me on 0794 1500155.

We can offer early, daytime and evening appointments. Please see our website for more details
