Hello and welcome to my counselling site. I offer an independent and confidential counselling service in comfortable rooms at a Gp practice in Bracknell, Berkshire, convenient for the Surrey/Hants/Berkshire borders.
I know that finding a counsellor can be difficult and taking the first step to make contact can seem daunting. You may be facing one or more of life’s challenges and possibly feeling stuck as to which direction to take. Counselling offers a safe, confidential environment to help you work through your problems and to see more clearly the choices open to you, making informed decisions possible.
I see individuals for long or short-term therapy for a wide range of issues and work mainly from a person-centred approach, being present for you as you explore your issues.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and as such I adhere to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I am also a member of the Hampshire Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and the Reading Therapies Group both of which provide regular training and the chance for professional networking.

Fees
Sessions last for 50 minutes and are typically weekly, costing £40 per session. Some concession can be made for individual circumstance, please ask when you call.
I offer a free, 30 minute, no obligation initial session at the Waterfield Practice, where we can meet and discuss the counselling process and you can decide if you wish to pursue therapy further. Please mention this when you book your appointment.
Student counselling available for £25 per 50 minute session.
Further Information
I have particular experience of working with the bereaved, including pregnancy loss and loss of a child. I also have experience of working with people living with a life limiting diagnosis and those caring for them.
