If you are usually the one coping and helping others, it is often difficult to get help yourself. If you are flagging, you may notice it affects your relationships, work function, communication skills and ability to make decisions, stress levels, and also your mood.
You probably are looking for someone who is straight talking as well as caring to discuss things with and to support you getting confidence and capacity back in your life. Someone with whom you can dare to sort out those struggles you have hidden for a long time.
With a lifetime experience in caring professions (including nursing, social work service, workplace counselling and GP surgery) you will be in safe hands with me.
"The single most important thing I have done for ME"
Counselling and psychotherapy helps ease the tension of conflicting ideas or feelings you may have, whether they are inside, with others or with the outside world. Whatever the issue you are coming with, it is likely you are feeling some of these symptoms:
- physical symptoms such as anxiety, body tension or panic attacks
- emotional responses such as fear, depression, lack of confidence or anger
- behavioural signs such as avoiding places or people, obsessional or repetitive actions, aggression
Together we sort through your concerns and the changes you wish to make in your life, I help you to grow resilience and intuition you can trust so you can take more charge of your life in a natural way.
I work within the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy which aims to maintain a high standard of clinical practice among it's members.
A therapist reaches 'senior' status after minimum 10 years of sustaining accreditation criteria of continuing professional development, standards of supervision.and other requirements.
