About me

My Soul Making coaching work goes alongside the Soul Making e-course (that will be relaunched later in 2016). There are a number of ways I support individuals – through soul conversations aimed at supporting soul making, creativity and development of your highest potential, and through my e-course packages– or a combination of both. This work is backed up by events and workshops – and you can find information on these in the events section of this website.

Please note: from April 2016 I will not be taking on any new face-to-face counselling or psychotherapy clients at my home in Pembrokeshire. My focus will be on the developmental soulwork and spiritual companionship described below. If you're looking to find a therapist in the area, there are a number listed here and the BACP's Find a Therapist service. I am happy to have a phone conversation with you to help you find the right support for you - email if you'd like to do this.

Developmental Soul Making and Coaching

I've worked for two decades as a therapist, coach and counsellor – and more recently I have been working with individuals and groups around deep soul making and creative development. I also practice as a spiritual coach – working within the framework of the Spiritual Companions

My emphasis is on working to support the development of your highest potential, by tapping into your imagination, creativity and connections. Like all professional helpers I am, of course, interesting in helping you to heal and deal with problems in your life. However, you will get the best out of working with me if you come prepared, motivated and able to go deep – to explore the different parts of your 'self', and how these relate to the world you live in.

So, you may find you get the best out of working with me if you've already done some personal development, healing work, counselling or therapy before and are ready to take the next step.

My approach is integral – that is, I bring together the different dimensions of human experience in my work. This might involve you exploring spiritual AND material aspects of your self; and it may involve you in challenging your cultural and psychological assumptions.

We'll work with what we might regard to be your 'social self' – how you relate to others; your 'ecological self' – how you connect and are embedded in the world; and your 'original soul self' – the ways in which you experience the dynamic energy of your individuality. Integrating these three through a deep soul conversation, will bring a profound transformation in your life and work, and you might find it most useful to combine these sessions with one or more of my e-courses, details of which you can find at

I can work with you in a variety of ways: face-to-face or via Skype or Facetime. I also do online coaching through my e-course platforms, and telephone work can also be helpful. Flexibility is often the key to sustaining work like this, and the aim is to help you transform yourself in order that you can be transformative in your own life, work, community, creativity and activism.

Training, qualifications & experience

I’ve worked as a counsellor, helper and psychotherapist for 18 years and with hundreds of people of all ages. This work has taken place in private practice, workplaces, schools and GP surgeries. My current work focuses on developmental soulwork and is suitable for individuals and groups wishing to go beyond early stage counselling or therapy work. I am also a Spiritual Companion – accredited through the Spiritual Companions Trust.

I undertake regular supervision with my colleague and senior therapist, Michael Soth - whose work you can read about at: and

I trained at the Counselling Consultancy Oxford, Metanoia Institute, Relate and the Spiritual Companions Trust. I am also currently a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and part of the Spiritual Companions Trust -
