JANUARY 2012 NEWS:
I have a couple of appointment slots which have become available in Banbury from January 2012. These will be on Tuesday mornings and are suitable for weekly or fortnightly individual or couple work.
I am also offering couple counselling, individual therapy and integral coaching sessions in Pembrokeshire on Thursdays from January 2012. Spaces are limited so please contact me as soon as possible.
Contact me as soon as possible if you'd like to take one of these appointments.
I offer integral therapy, coaching and EMDR* to individuals or couples on a short or long-term basis. Support can be short-term support around symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression at a time when you need some help getting through a difficult phase in your life. However, sometimes people way wish to explore deeper issues and meaning, and look at their patterns and habits of thinking, feeling and behaviour.
I offer in-depth coaching and workplace supervision which can be face-to-face, by phone or by email - helping people become more successful and effective in their work lives. Integral coaching and supervision for managers/leaders supports professional effectiveness and improves team leadership and people management.
* EMDR is Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing and is an effective treatement for trauma, anxiety and persistent troubling memories. You can find out more about EMDR at www.emdrassociation.org.uk
Training, Qualifications & Experience
I am a psychotherapist with a MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute in London and a Diploma in Counselling Principles and Practice from Oxford Brookes, University (1997). I have trained in couple therapy and in EMDR. I have studied Integral Practice through the Core Integral modular system.
I have particular experience as a consultant working with large organisations in developing integral approaches to people management, wellbeing and performance.
My approach is based on the Integral Life Practice of Ken Wilber and the soul-building work of James Hillman, among others. It allows mind, body, soul, work, creativity and relationship to come together in a deep and practical framework for living fully and authentically in the world.
I am registered with the UKCP (United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy) and I'm a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have full Personal Professional Indemnity Insurance, and my counselling and psychotherapy work is professionally supervised.

Further Information
When you come for your first session, it is a chance to meet and make sure that I am the right person for you to work with. The most important aspect of any therapy or counselling is the relationship between your therapist and yourself - so getting this right early on is crucial. In this first session I will also answer any questions you have about the therapy or coaching work.
