Kate Manley MA, MBACP, UKCP Reg.
Thinking about trying counselling? Counselling can be a very supportive and positive experience for anyone wanting to talk through problems and concerns.
I have been counselling since 1999, supporting people with a variety of concerns or who are looking to improve their lives. My aim is to provide a safe and welcoming space in which we can explore together whatever is troubling you, whether this is the result of a specific event or an accumulation of stressful life experiences or difficulties going back to earlier life events.
I can offer short-term, goal orientated counselling or more exploratory open-ended work, depending on your particular situation and preference.
Methods of counselling offered are:
- Online - via live text sessions or video Skype sessions
My way of working is integrative so this means that my approach to our work together would be tailored specifically to you. We can discuss what ideas you might have about this and your hopes for the counselling and I will share my thoughts about what approaches might be of most benefit to you.
I can offer my experience both as a professional who is trained to assist people who are uneasy with their lives, and also as a fellow human being who understands what it is like to struggle to overcome the challenges life throws up.
