I am an accredited, integrative counsellor, offering short term and long term counselling for adults and adolescents. The first session is free so we can decide if it would be helpful for us to work together. I offer a supportive, non judgemental environment to work through issues in a safe and effective way, to enable new perspective on past and current issues and tools to cope with future life. I work in a Client Centred way which focuses on the counselling relationship, established through support and empathy. I also use Cognitive Behaviour Therapy where appropriate to facilitate change and suit each individual need
Training, Qualifications & Experience
HND in Counselling. BACP Accredited Counsellor. UKRCP Registered Independent Counsellor. Working with adults who have suffered Childhood Abuse(numerous training workshops). Brief Solution Therapy Course.
I have previously worked with a Primary Care Trust dealing with G.P. referrals. I also have experience with private clients within an organisation offering short and long term counselling covering a wide range of different issues. I have been counselling for 4 years and now have my own private practice.
