About me

About Me:
I am a UKCP registered family therapist and I specialise in working with individuals, couples, adolescents, children and their larger families.

I have over 20 year's experience of working with couples, families and individuals in Sweden, France and England. I have worked for the NHS in London as a family psychotherapist for the past 11 years.

My work as a Therapist:

I help families and individuals work through the challenges they face, whether it is relationship issues within the family or difficulties that may be related to school, work, bereavement, and other transitions in life.

People seek counselling for very different reasons. Couple relationships can sometimes become complicated and we often need help from a professional to learn how to better communicate with each other. The stress of every day life can become too difficult to handle and it impacts on our families.

Others seek counselling to try to better understand their past, and how it impacts on their lives today.

I aim to offer my clients a safe place to talk about, and explore their emotions. I help family members communicate better with each other.

I also have a lot of experience in parenting and helping parents through the various stages of their children growing up, and adolescence. I am a certified Circle of Security facilitator.

I have a great deal of experience in working with migration, loss, divorce, domestic violence and other couple issues.

I specialise in sexual abuse, relationship issues, divorce and it's impact on the family, couple counselling, mediation, anger management and child related issues.

I also specialise in multicultural and multifaith relationships.

I have a great deal of experience in working with traumas and phobias

I have very regular television appearences to speak about various subjects such as bringing up children, talking to adolescents, refugees and so forth.

You are welcome to call me just to have a chat about what your needs are and whether I can be of help to you.
