I am a psychodynamic counsellor with many years of counselling experience. I work with clients to facilitate insight and understanding whilst looking at both the past and the present. By exploring the conflicts within interpersonal relationships, the patterns of relating that may be causing problems and creating a feeling of being 'stuck', can be looked at together and understood.
A safe space is provided where you can reflect on your personal experiences whilst relating to me as your counsellor and begin to experience, challenge and start to understand your feelings.
My personal belief is that by working with what a client brings and within a certain approach, it will become clear which way of working is most appropriate to that person at that specific time.
When you take your first step and make an appointment we will meet for an initial assessment where you will be able to tell me about yourself, your life and your problems. It is here where it can be decided whether short term or long term open ended therapy is most suitable.

Post Grad. Dip. in Counselling Hertfordshire University- July 2004
B.A.C.P Accredited - October 2008
Many years experience of working as a counsellor for the mental health charity M.I.N.D in both the short and long term service.
I work in private practice.

My fees are £30 per session.
Each session is 50 minutes.
A limited number of concessions are available.

As a B.A.C.P accredited counsellor my practice has been assessed and thought to have reached the standard of a competent, ethical, independent practitioner.
