Profile

I am a psychotherapist and counsellor, and I have been practising for 15 years. I am UKCP and BACP registered, and I have a private practice in North London. I offer a confidential service to individuals as well a couples. My client group is typical of London in that they come from different backgrounds and from different cultures, races and lifestyles. I am also a trainer and supervisor for Metanoia Insitutute as well as for CPPD.

I am Indian, I grew up in Africa and have lived in London for over 30 years. Living in different countries has been a great gift to me in communication and understanding people across cultures.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I started my working life as an administrator, and went to University as an mature student. This lead me into community work, organisational training, and on to training as a psychotherapist at Metanoia. Since then I have been endorsed as a supervisor and trainer.
My formal qualifications are :
BSc in Social Science
MSc in TA psychotherapy
CTA, and PTSTA (clinical, training and supervision endorsements in TA psychotherapy)

BACP and UKCP registered practitioner.

I have worked as a counsellor in the NHS, and in a variety of counselling projects funded by the NHS and the Health Service. I teach psychotherapy on a Masters programme, as well as on an advanced counselling diploma in London.

£47 for individuals
£75 for couples (1.5 hours)

Further Information

My practice is based in my home in North London where I see clients weekly, for sessions that take 50 minutes.
