If you are reading this, you have already taken the hardest step of deciding to ask for help. Our first appointment will allow you to get a better feel of how I work and whether I am the right person to support you through whatever difficulties you are facing right now. I offer long and short term psychotherapy for individuals, couples and groups in Derby and Nottingham.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
I hold a Post-graduate Diploma and MA in Gestalt Psychotherapy, as well as an NLP Practitioner Certificate. I have also received additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist and a Member of BACP. I have worked primarily in private practice, but am also experienced within NHS primary care settings. I also work with many counselling and psychotherapy trainees working towards accreditation.
My background is in Personal Development and Training, specialising in one to one coaching and mentoring, so training as a psychotherapist was a natural progression for me. My Gestalt training has involved many hours of personal therapy and clinical supervision, and my experience of Gestalt Pyschotherapy has been a life changing one. It has raised my awareness of who I am, and why I am the way I am, and allowed me the space to explore how all this affects my relationships with those around me.

I have a particular interest in cross cultural issues and extensive experience with working with those from minority groups.
Fees
I operate a sliding fee scale based on your personal circumstances and offer sessions from £40 for individuals, £50 for couples, and £20 for groups. The cost will be made clear to you at your first consultation.
